In the Old Testament, young David played his lyre to bring peace to the troubled mind of King Saul. Generations later, before Jesus Christ entered Gethsemane, He sang a hymn with His disciples (Matthew 26:30).
These sacred moments, along with my own experiences, have taught me a few simple truths about music:
Music is a divine gift. It can heal, strengthen, and sustain us through both life’s deepest trials and its ordinary moments.
Music connects us. It brings us closer to our Creator and to one another through listening, sharing, and singing together.
Music speaks beyond words. It helps us process emotions and express things that words alone cannot communicate.
One of my greatest joys is creating and participating in music that touches the soul. My hope is that the music I share will be a source of comfort, inspiration, and hope to you—especially to those navigating mental illness, neurodiversity, or the sacred work of loving someone who does.
